A whirlpool of colours flashed and spun down in front of his eyes.Like the
water,it too sucked and caught at his energy, placing him under the seas
hypnotic spell and grip. How many others had vanished like this he
thought, the sheer strength of the ocean easily overpowering him.How many
more were to weaken and worship the waves, only to be sacrificed for nature?
Salt stung his lips and the sand whipped his skin. His oxygen levels were decreasing rapidly as the sea's strong arms pinned him to the bottom of the greenish blue liquid world he could no longer see,but was being forced to feel.Down Down Down down, left again, right again.Underwater tornadoes dancing in the dark green night. He heard an explosion. His chest had given up.It was no competition for the ocean's heart. His brain slowly began to shut down, the first rest it had had since prior to birth.Lifeless and weather beaten, the body of a boy surfaced, clothes torn and shoes missing. The waves of high tide carried him towards the shore like pallbearers carry the coffins of the dead to their final resting place. What nature had murdered, she was about to bury. |
